New Jersey considers state bill
SB 243, which would make calls with prerecorded messages prohibited to numbers on the NDNC, and state bill AB 1225, which would add political calls to those restricted under the No Call List Act.

Senate Bill 781 sets National DNC fees to an annual amount equal to the smaller of either $54 for each area code accessed or $14,850 for access to all area codes within the registry.

Federal bills passed in December of 2007 permanently extend registration of numbers on the National DNC.
